Bemoov Bikes for Kids

Bemoov designs bikes specifically for children – from their first balance bikes and lightweight bikes for learning to larger models for independent and more active riding. Particular attention is paid to low weight, child-specific geometry and easy handling.

What Makes Bemoov Kids' Bikes Stand Out?

A lightweight bike makes it easier for a child to start riding, manoeuvre and control the bike. Bemoov models also use lightweight aluminium frames, while the frame geometry and contact points are adapted to children's body proportions.

Ease of use is also important: the child should be able to comfortably reach the handlebars, brake levers and pedals. As the child grows, not only the bike size but also its equipment changes – smaller models focus on simplicity, while larger bikes introduce gears and features designed for more active riding.

How to Choose the Right Bemoov Size?

We recommend choosing a Bemoov bike primarily according to the child's height and inseam, rather than age alone. Wheel sizes of 14, 16, 20, 24 or 26 inches provide a useful reference, but the final choice should be based on the sizing recommendations for the specific model and the child's body proportions.

If you are choosing between two Bemoov models, it is important not to select a bike that is significantly too large just so the child can “grow into it”. A correctly sized bike is easier for a child to control, stop and ride confidently.

Which Bemoov Model Should You Choose?

When choosing a bike, consider not only the child's height but also their experience and intended type of riding. For first independent rides, a lightweight and easy-to-control bike is most important, while an older or more experienced child may benefit from gears and equipment designed for different types of terrain.
