In collaboration with FIZIK – an Italian manufacturer whose saddles are chosen by professionals worldwide – we offer the opportunity to create a fully custom 3D-printed saddle based on your individual biomechanics. During a dedicated analysis, your seating position is recorded and used to design a unique saddle shape that precisely matches your pressure and support zones.

Benefits of a Custom Saddle

Comfort: A custom 3D saddle features support zones tailored specifically to you – firmer where stability is needed and softer where pressure relief is essential. The result is noticeably reduced discomfort and more enjoyable long rides.
Unique design: The saddle can be manufactured with either carbon (carbon fiber) rails or lightweight aluminum rails – depending on how important weight reduction is for you.

Seating position measurement (40 min)

Your bike is mounted on a trainer and a pressure measurement sensor is placed on the saddle. While you ride at a normal pace, we record how pressure is distributed across the saddle. This analysis shows where pressure is highest, where support is lacking, and which saddle shape suits you best.

Saddle manufacturing (2–3 weeks)

Your pressure profile analysis is sent to the FIZIK factory, where the saddle is designed and 3D-printed based on your individual biomechanics.

OPTIONAL: Saddle check at Velonova

Once the saddle arrives, you can bring it to VELONOVA. We will check whether it matches your seating position as planned. If any inaccuracies are found during the check, the saddle is sent back and remade free of charge.

As the saddle is made specifically for you, it cannot be returned. However, if adjustments are needed, the saddle can be sent back for correction free of charge.
