3T Strada Italia – a premium carbon road bike designed for cyclists seeking maximum efficiency in both racing and long endurance training sessions. Refined since the first-generation Strada launched in 2017, its construction reflects 3T’s approach to the modern road bike, where not only aerodynamic efficiency but also real-world riding conditions matter. Key features:

• Carbon frame made in Italy: the 3T Strada Italia frame is manufactured at the 3T factory in Presezzo using proprietary Filament Winding and RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding) technologies. These processes allow precise control of carbon fibre placement to create a stiff, lightweight construction with efficient power transfer.
• RealFast aerodynamic construction: the frame aerodynamics are optimised for real-world riding conditions. Testing is carried out at speeds of 32 and 48 km/h with bottles and other commonly used accessories installed. The specially shaped head tube, down tube and rear triangle help reduce air resistance and manage airflow more efficiently.
• Combination of aerodynamics and comfort: the curved seat tube, specially shaped seatstays and carbon seatpost help absorb road vibrations. At the same time, aerodynamic tube profiles are retained to reduce drag without sacrificing comfort.
• Designed for wider road tyres: the frame is optimised for tyres with an actual width (WAM) of 30–35 mm, with a maximum permitted width of 35 mm. Higher-volume tyres provide improved grip, comfort and efficient rolling on rough asphalt. The construction allows at least 4 mm of clearance between the tyre and frame, provided the tyre’s actual radius (RAM) does not exceed 347 mm.
• 3T Performance Enhancing geometry: updated Stack and Reach dimensions allow an aerodynamic yet comfortable riding position. The 408 mm chainstays provide quick response during acceleration, while frame-size-specific fork offsets of 50–61 mm ensure precise handling and stability on descents.
• 3T Fundi Integrale II carbon fork: a lightweight and stiff fork with asymmetric Sqaero-profile legs designed for efficient airflow management around the front wheel. The compact upper section and integrated brake mounting improve aerodynamics and reduce the number of unnecessary components.
• 3T Integrale internal cable routing system: brake hoses and electronic drivetrain wiring are fully concealed within the cockpit and frame. Integration with the 3T Uno GHIAIA or Uno FLUX handlebar reduces air resistance and gives the bike a clean, seamless appearance.
• 3T MinMax Integrale headset bearings: specially designed compact bearings allow a 1.5-inch lower steerer section to be used within a narrow aerodynamic head tube. This solution combines structural stiffness, precise handling and aerodynamic efficiency.
• Aerodynamically optimised down tube: the narrower upper section and wider lower section help direct airflow around the front wheel and bottles. A bottle mounted in the lower position is additionally shielded from direct airflow, helping reduce overall drag.
• 1x and 2x drivetrain compatibility: a removable front derailleur mount allows both single- and double-chainring drivetrains to be used. The frame is compatible with electronic Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo Super Record Wireless groupsets.
• UDH universal derailleur hanger: the standardised rear derailleur mounting system provides compatibility with modern derailleurs and makes replacement parts easier to source.
• Threaded bottom bracket: the construction avoids additional metal inserts in the carbon frame, reducing unnecessary weight, simplifying maintenance and helping prevent issues associated with press-fit components.
• Direct disc brake mounting: the front fork and rear triangle are designed for 160 mm brake rotors without additional adapters. This reduces the number of components, simplifies installation and ensures clean brake system integration.
• Integrated seatpost clamping: a self-adjusting wedge clamp with an aerodynamic cover securely holds the seatpost while maintaining the frame’s clean appearance.
• Ritchey saddle clamping system: compatible with saddles featuring round or oval rails, making it easier to choose a saddle suited to individual preferences.
• K-Edge bike computer mount: a mount developed specifically for the 3T MORE INTEGRALE system allows a compatible bike computer to be installed conveniently while maintaining an aerodynamic cockpit area.
• Exclusive Italia_X version: top-tier Italia_X models feature a natural, visible carbon fibre structure protected by a thin clear coating. This finish highlights the unique carbon pattern and the Italian frame manufacturing process.
