Zipp SUPER-9 Clincher Track Disc – a carbon disc wheel designed specifically for track racing. In this model, Zipp combines high stiffness, aerodynamic and rolling efficiency, efficient power transfer and low weight.

SUPER-9 features a clincher rim specifically designed for the velodrome, with a small tire bead hook. The carbon layup is optimized for track bikes to increase overall wheel system stiffness. Zipp states that this wheel is fastest with 23 mm tires on the velodrome.

The disc wheel remains flat from its widest point to the hub and features a specially textured surface. This construction is designed to optimize aerodynamics, power transfer, stiffness, weight and durability.

The rim has an internal width of 21 mm and an external width of 27.5 mm. It is compatible with both tube-type and tubeless tires. The maximum permitted tire pressure is 8.6 bar / 125 psi.
