Zipp SUPER-9 Clincher Track Disc – a carbon front disc wheel designed specifically for track racing. This version features a 12x100 mm Track axle. With the SUPER-9 construction, Zipp aims to combine high stiffness, aerodynamic and rolling efficiency, efficient power transfer and low weight.

SUPER-9 features a clincher rim specifically designed for the velodrome, with a small tire bead hook designed for aerodynamic efficiency. The carbon layup is optimized for track bikes to increase overall wheel system stiffness. Zipp states that SUPER-9 is fastest on the velodrome when used with 23 mm tires.

The disc wheel remains flat from its widest point to the hub, while its surface features a special texture. This construction is optimized for aerodynamics, power transfer, stiffness, low weight and durability.

The rim has an internal width of 21 mm and a maximum external width of 27.5 mm. The rim is compatible with tube-type and tubeless tires, with a maximum permitted tire pressure of 8.6 bar / 125 psi.
