Specialized Epic 9 Expert Mountain Bike | Gloss Carbon - White

Specialized Epic 9 – the lightest and fastest XC race bike

Specialized Epic 9 is built around one clear idea – to go faster than ever before. It represents the latest evolution in XC racing, where every detail is optimized for efficiency, control, and weight. The bike is not only lighter, but also more capable on technical terrain, allowing you to maintain a high pace from start to finish.

Key features:

• Ultra-lightweight frame: approximately 1,589 g (S-Works frame with shock), one of the lightest full-suspension XC frames on the market
• 206 g lighter than previous generation: weight savings across the entire bike improve acceleration, responsiveness, and overall efficiency
• Efficiency in every pedal stroke: optimized kinematics maximize power transfer without energy loss
• Reduced suspension friction: around 11% lower friction ensures more sensitive performance and better traction on rough terrain
• Modern XC geometry: designed for higher speeds and technical courses—offering improved stability and control
• Active suspension: remains responsive even while pedaling, maintaining traction and speed
• 3 suspension modes: allows you to choose the optimal balance between efficiency and comfort for different terrain sections
• Improved control on technical trails: enhanced stability over rocks, roots, and demanding sections
• Reduced fatigue: efficient power transfer and improved vibration absorption help maintain performance over longer distances
• Integrated design: frame, suspension, and geometry are engineered as a single system for maximum speed optimization
• Race-proven performance: developed from years of XC racing experience and tested at the highest level
