How to Choose a Scooter?
For Adults
When choosing a scooter, first think about where you will use it most often. For city rides, we recommend smaller wheels, 100–145 mm – these scooters are compact, easy to fold, and convenient to carry, making city travel simpler. If you plan to ride longer distances or on uneven surfaces, larger wheels – 180–230 mm or inflatable – will ensure smoother and more comfortable rides.
Also, consider the maximum weight limit (usually 100–180 kg), folding convenience, and overall weight. A low deck allows easier kicking, while the frame material affects both durability and price: aluminum is lightweight and resistant, while steel is stronger but heavier.
For Kids
Choose a scooter based on your child’s age and height. For the youngest (2–4 years), we recommend three-wheeled models – they are very stable and help build confidence quickly. For older kids (4–8 years), opt for models with adjustable handlebars. To make riding easier, choose a lightweight scooter with a low deck.
Before your child sets off on an adventure, check safety details: make sure the handlebar is at hip or waist level, the platform is non-slip, and the brake works well. And most importantly – don’t forget safety gear: a helmet is a must!
Types of Scooters
For Kids
Kids’ scooters are designed for smooth urban surfaces and short distances. They are usually lightweight, have a low deck, and simple brakes. Their main advantage – safety and ease of balance learning.
Three-Wheeled Scooters
Perfect for 2–4-year-olds taking their first rides on sidewalks or playgrounds. These models are lightweight, stable, and provide maximum confidence for beginners.
Stunt Scooters
Designed for teens and adults who enjoy tricks in skate parks. They have smaller, harder wheels, a strong non-folding frame, and are built for intense use.
City/Foldable Scooters
These are the most popular among our customers for city commuting. Thanks to their folding mechanism, they are easy to transport and store. Lightweight, low-deck, with adjustable handlebars – perfect for daily rides.
Electric Scooters
For adults who need a commuting option for longer distances and varied surfaces. Equipped with a powerful motor and large battery, they offer comfort and speed with minimal effort.
