Fizik Arione R1 Adaptive – a lightweight road cycling saddle designed for performance riding and cyclists who like to change their seating position while pedaling. The long and flat Arione profile provides more room to move forwards and backwards, while advanced Adaptive 3D padding provides different levels of support across individual areas of the saddle.

Adaptive padding is produced using 3D-printing technology and features five functional zones, each designed to provide a different level of support. A softer central zone helps distribute the rider's weight more evenly and reduce pressure in sensitive areas without the need for a traditional saddle cut-out. Fizik states that this construction reduces peak pressure by 60%.

The Arione shape features a flat and elongated 284 mm profile. It provides greater freedom to move forwards and backwards on the saddle, allowing the rider to change the support position more easily during intense efforts or when riding in an aerodynamic position.

The saddle shell is made from carbon-reinforced nylon, while lightweight carbon rails help reduce the overall saddle weight. The Arione R1 Adaptive is available in 135 mm and 145 mm widths, weighing 184 g and 190 g respectively.
