Fizik Vento Arione R1 Light – a lightweight racing saddle for speed and freedom of movement

Fizik Vento Arione R1 Light – a high-performance road saddle designed for fast and sporty riding. The flat and elongated Arione profile provides plenty of room to move forwards and backwards, allowing the rider to easily change position during intense efforts or when riding in an aerodynamic position.

R1 Light construction combines a carbon-reinforced nylon shell with highly rigid carbon rails. Lightweight injected EVA padding provides low-profile cushioning and support while maintaining the saddle's ergonomic shape without adding unnecessary thickness.

Arione is Fizik's longest saddle, measuring 284 mm in length. Its flat profile and elongated shape provide greater freedom of movement forwards and backwards, making it easier to adapt to different riding situations. This design is particularly suited to aggressive and aerodynamic riding positions in road racing and time trials.

The ergonomic central cut-out was developed using extensive pressure analysis and input from medical experts. It helps reduce pressure in sensitive areas and promotes blood flow. The saddle surface features a grippy texture that helps maintain a stable riding position during intense efforts.
