Bike computers and speedometers – the smart path to a better ride

Bicycle computers and speedometers are far more than just speed gauges. These devices let you precisely track distance, monitor heart rate and cadence, and more advanced models can even record your route or power data. Whether you’re preparing for a race or simply enjoying everyday rides, this gear helps you understand your abilities and improve.

Modern units sync effortlessly with Strava, Zwift, TrainingPeaks and other popular platforms. With ANT+ and Bluetooth support, they pair with sensors and heart-rate straps so every workout becomes more accurate, controlled, and motivating.

What will you find in this category?

Speedometers

Simple, usually wired or wireless devices for measuring speed, distance, and time. They’re great for city cyclists, kids, or anyone who just needs the basics.

Computers

Smarter devices with built-in navigation, elevation and gradient data, route tracking, and training analysis. Popular with athletes and active enthusiasts. GPS computers are favored for their navigation features.

Sensors and accessories

Cadence, speed, heart-rate sensors, and more—mounted on the bike or worn on the body. They transmit data to your computer or smartphone. K-Edge computer mounts are among the strongest and most popular worldwide.

If you’re not sure what to choose

If you’re unsure which device suits you best, we’ll help. We’ll consider your bike, riding style, budget, and goals. Our team actually tests these products, so we recommend only what truly works.

A speedometer shows basic data – speed, distance, and time. They are often wired or simple wireless devices. A GPS computer, on the other hand, uses satellite signals, displays maps, altitude, heart rate, cadence, allows route tracking, and provides training analysis.

Yes. Speedometers and computers can be mounted on almost any bike – mountain, road, city, or gravel. The key is to choose the right mount and know where to attach the sensors (if used).

Some devices only show basic data, but if you want to track cadence, heart rate, or speed without relying on GPS, you will need separate sensors. Some models already include sensors – this is convenient and often cheaper than buying them separately.

Basic speedometers usually use coin cell batteries (CR2032, etc.) that last for months or even years. GPS computers have a rechargeable battery via USB – battery life ranges from about 10 to 40 hours depending on the model.

Yes, all our models are resistant to cold, moisture, and dust. In winter, we recommend removing them after a ride and storing them at room temperature – this extends battery life.

No. Most devices are mounted with rubber bands or a handlebar mount. Installation takes only a few minutes. Sensors are usually attached to the crank, hub, or frame.

If you only need basic functions – choose CatEye or Sigma speedometers. If training analysis and compatibility with smart apps are important – choose Garmin, Wahoo, or Hammerhead GPS computers. Have questions? Our team is always happy to help!
