The fifth edition of the VELONOVA x ASSOS COLLECTIVE13 cycling community event took place

More than one hundred cyclists who chose to spend their Sunday together gathered at Velonova on May 24 for the annual VELONOVA x ASSOS COLLECTIVE13 event. Organized each year together with Assos of Switzerland, one of the world's leading cycling apparel manufacturers, the event takes place in numerous locations around the globe and once again delivered plenty of enjoyable kilometers and valuable prizes from event partners.

This year, the event attracted exceptional interest – all 100 available spots were claimed within just 30 minutes of registration opening.

The event began on Sunday morning with host Gintas Vaičikauskas welcoming participants and inviting them to refuel and fill their bottles with SiS electrolytes provided by one of the event sponsors. After dividing into groups, riders set off on one of two route options: an 87 km route reaching Vievis and a 77 km route heading to Verkšionys. Both routes followed paved roads and were accompanied by the Velonova team, a support vehicle, and a motorcycle escort.

As tradition dictates, after returning to Velonova, participants enjoyed an entertaining post-ride program featuring music, delicious food, and refreshing beverages provided by event sponsor Carlsberg Non-Alcoholic. After enjoying burgers and refreshments, riders had the opportunity to win prizes from sponsor Dynamic, including bicycle and apparel care products.

Some of the most valuable prizes, including the Dynamic Super 7 Bike Care Box and the electric Dynamic Turblo Pump, were awarded to participants brave enough to compete in the slow cycling challenge. The objective was simple: ride from start to finish as slowly as possible without touching the ground with a foot or turning around. During the competition, riders demonstrated impressive bike-handling skills and balance.

Additional Dynamic bicycle and apparel care products were awarded to quiz participants who correctly answered questions such as which bicycle was chosen by the President of Lithuania at Velonova, which SiS energy gel flavor is the most popular, and many more.

As every year, the event's grand prize – the exclusive Assos of Switzerland Collective13 jersey – was awarded to one lucky participant selected in a prize draw.

Even participants who did not win any of the competitions left with something special. Every attendee received a Velonova gift bag filled with products and gifts from Dynamic, SiS, and Assos of Switzerland.
