3T Extrema Italia – a high-end carbon gravel bike designed for demanding off-road racing, long endurance distances and adventure riding. This model is intended for riders who want to maintain high speed even where traditional gravel bikes begin to struggle. Extrema Italia combines the efficiency of a performance road bike with the versatility of an off-road bike, making it equally suitable for racing and long bikepacking trips. Its carefully engineered construction allows you to confidently tackle rocky trails, rough gravel roads and technically demanding routes while maintaining precise handling and stability at higher speeds.

Key features:

• Carbon frame made in Italy: the 3T Extrema Italia Integrale frame is manufactured using proprietary Filament Winding and RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding) technologies. These processes allow precise control of carbon fibre placement to create a lightweight, stiff and durable construction.
• RealFast aerodynamic construction: the frame is optimised for tyres with an actual width of 50–57 mm. The specially shaped down tube, aerodynamic head tube and seat tube positioned close to the rear wheel help manage airflow and reduce drag even when using wide tyres.
• Clearance for extra-wide tyres: the frame accommodates 700C / 29-inch tyres up to 57 mm actual width (WAM) with a 1x drivetrain. This allows the use of high-volume tyres that provide greater grip, comfort and control on demanding terrain.
• 3Touring geometry: geometry specifically developed for challenging terrain features a higher handlebar position, shorter reach and slacker head tube angle. This provides more stable handling on technical sections while retaining a sporty riding position and efficient power transfer.
• Optimised balance of stiffness and comfort: the updated carbon layup and slimmer seat tube increase vertical frame compliance compared with Racemax Italia while maintaining high bottom bracket and head tube stiffness.
• Integrated frame storage: a compartment inside the down tube provides secure storage for tools, a spare inner tube and other essentials. The Fidlock Mini-hook closure securely holds the cover in place, while the Missgrape-designed neoprene pouch protects stored items from vibration.
• 3T Fango Extrema Integrale carbon fork: the specially designed fork with a compact upper section provides an effective balance of stiffness, weight and aerodynamics. Three mounting points on each side of the fork allow additional bags, bottles or other touring accessories to be attached.
• 3T MORE Integrale system: integrated brake hose and cable routing through the cockpit and frame provides a clean appearance and reduces the aerodynamic impact of external components.
• 27.2 mm round seatpost: the aerodynamic seatpost system is compatible with standard round, wireless dropper and suspension seatposts, allowing the bike to be adapted to different riding requirements.
• Double-Drop chainstays: dropped chainstays on both sides create additional clearance for wide tyres and the crankset while increasing rear triangle stiffness and overall structural efficiency.
• Integrated 160 mm brake mounting: the direct-mount design allows 160 mm brake rotors to be used without additional adapters at both the front and rear of the bike.
• UDH universal derailleur hanger: provides compatibility with the UDH standard and allows the use of modern electronic drivetrains, including direct-mount SRAM Eagle Transmission derailleurs.
• Integrated mudguard mounting points: allow mudguards to be installed without modifying the bike, making the model suitable for long rides in changing weather conditions.
• Aerodynamically optimised down tube: the 60 mm-wide upper section directs airflow away from the front tyre, while the lower section widens to 75 mm to help reduce aerodynamic drag around the bottles and integrated storage compartment.
