Zipp SUPER-9 – maximum efficiency for triathlon and time trial

Zipp SUPER-9 Tubeless Disc Brake – a carbon rear disc wheel designed for modern triathlon and time trial bikes. The updated wheel shape is wide and parallel from the hub, then narrows as it approaches the hookless tire mounting surface.

SUPER-9 is designed using Zipp's Total System Efficiency (TSE) concept. The wider rim profile and optimized tire interface are designed to reduce four factors that limit speed: aerodynamic drag, gravity, rolling resistance and vibration losses.

The wheel features a 23 mm internal width hookless / Tubeless Straight Side (TSS) construction and is optimized for wider tires used at lower pressures. Zipp states that 28 mm is both the minimum and optimal tire width for this wheel. The wheel is designed for tubeless tires, although a tubeless tire can also be used with an inner tube.

The integrated TyreWiz 2.0 tire pressure monitor allows you to check whether tire pressure is within your desired PSI or bar range. SUPER-9 also features updated valve access with an integrated cover.

The wheel is equipped with a ZR1 SL hub and ceramic cartridge bearings. It is available with a SRAM XDR or SRAM/Shimano Road driver body, while a Campagnolo driver body is available separately.
