Stan’s Original Rim Tape – airtight tape for tubeless systems

Stan’s Original Rim Tape is designed for reliable and airtight tubeless setup preparation. Its non-porous material creates a secure seal between the rim and tubeless tire while helping sealant remain liquid inside the tire for longer.

Key features:

Airtight tubeless sealing: creates a reliable and airtight layer over spoke holes
Non-porous material: protects the inside of the rim from moisture and air loss
Compatible with aluminum and carbon rims: helps protect the rim bed, spokes and nipples
Helps keep sealant liquid longer: creates an optimal environment for tubeless systems
Easier tire installation: low-friction surface helps tire beads seat more easily
Adhesive leaves no residue: tape can be removed cleanly without glue marks on the rim
Recommended width: choose tape 1–2 mm wider than the internal rim width
For high-pressure systems: above 50 psi / 3.5 bar, 2 tape layers are recommended
For low-pressure systems: up to 50 psi / 3.5 bar, Tubeless Ready rims typically require 1 layer
10 m roll: enough for 4 x 29” or 5 x 27.5” rims
50 m roll: enough for 20 x 29” or 25 x 27.5” rims
