SRAM Rival E1 XPLR AXS 1x13 Groupset – Reliable Control for Demanding Gravel Routes

SRAM Rival E1 XPLR AXS – a fully wireless electronic 1x13-speed groupset designed for gravel bikes and challenging off-road routes. A 42-tooth front chainring and 10-46-tooth cassette provide a wide gear range, while the “Full Mount” rear derailleur, mounted directly to a UDH-compatible frame, ensures precise and stable performance over rough terrain. The updated hydraulic brakes deliver more power and confident one-finger braking.

• 1x13 drivetrain built for gravel bikes: a single front chainring simplifies the drivetrain, while 13 gears provide a wide range and smoother gear progression.
• 42-tooth front chainring: a versatile size that helps balance speed on flatter sections with suitable gearing for climbs.
• 10-46-tooth cassette: the 460% gear range makes it easier to tackle steep climbs and maintain a high pace on faster sections of the route.
• “Full Mount” rear derailleur: mounts directly to a UDH-compatible frame and aligns with the rear axle, making it more resistant to impacts.
• No derailleur hanger required: the direct-mount design eliminates the alignment issues of a traditional hanger and provides a stronger support point for the derailleur.
• Simplified setup: the rear derailleur does not use traditional limit screws, allowing quick and accurate setup.
• Stable chain management: the spring clutch inherited from MTB systems maintains chain tension and reduces chain slap over rough terrain.
• Replaceable derailleur parts: key damaged components can be replaced separately, so a hard impact does not necessarily require replacing the entire derailleur.
• One-finger braking: the updated Rival E1 HRD levers provide powerful braking whether your hands are on the hoods or in the drops.
• Reduced braking effort: braking from the hoods requires up to 80% less finger force, and from the drops up to 33% less, compared to the previous generation.
• Improved ergonomics: the updated lever shape is designed for a wide range of hand sizes and helps maintain comfort on long rides.
• Fully wireless AXS system: electronic shifting reduces cable clutter, simplifies installation and ensures fast drivetrain response.
• Custom configuration: the SRAM AXS app allows you to customise control functions, adjust settings, check battery status and update firmware.
