SILCA Protocol RCG-4 – aggressive gravel tire for mud and challenging terrain

SILCA Protocol RCG-4 is a gravel tire designed for mud, sand, loose rocks and extremely challenging terrain. It is intended for conditions where the surface constantly changes and reliable grip and puncture protection are especially important.

The RCG-4 features an aggressive tread pattern with widely spaced knobs. Compared to the RCG-3, there are fewer knobs, but they are significantly larger. The wider spacing prevents mud and sticky soil from accumulating as easily between the tread knobs – as the tire rotates, it sheds mud more effectively and maintains grip in challenging conditions.

Taller and wider tread knobs also provide more rubber between the tire casing and rocks. Additional sidewall protection increases durability on challenging terrain. SILCA states that the RCG-4 is the most puncture-resistant tire in the entire Protocol gravel tire range.
