Shimano Ultegra PD-R8200 Pedals | + 4mm

Shimano ULTEGRA PD-R8200 – next-generation SPD-SLR road pedals

Shimano ULTEGRA PD-R8200 – high-performance road pedals designed for fast and efficient riding during training, racing or long-distance rides. The new SPD-SLR system integrates the pedal, cleat and shoe into a unified platform, providing greater stability and efficient power transfer. The lightweight carbon-composite body, extra-wide platform and low-profile design deliver a stable and direct pedaling feel.
This +4 mm version features a 4 mm longer pedal axle, positioning the foot slightly further away from the crank arm.

Key features:

• Next-generation SPD-SLR system: a close connection between the shoe, cleat and pedal reduces unnecessary movement and helps transfer pedaling power efficiently
• 2.3 mm lower shoe-to-pedal interface: positions the foot closer to the pedal axle for improved stability, control and power transfer
• Extra-wide platform: provides stable support and helps transfer power efficiently during intense efforts
• Carbon-composite body: lightweight and rigid construction designed for performance riding
• Integrated stainless steel contact plate: increases the stiffness and durability of the contact surface
• Reduced bearing resistance: ensures smooth pedal rotation
• Faster engagement: a larger engagement area and 10.5° engagement angle make clipping in easier and more natural
• Adjustable entry and release tension: allows the pedal mechanism to be adjusted according to individual preferences
• Ultra-low profile: the close shoe-to-pedal interface provides a stable and direct pedaling feel
• Low weight: the pair of pedals weighs approximately 228 g

SPD-SLR cleat compatibility:

Important: the new SPD-SLR system is not compatible with previous Shimano SPD-SL cleats. SPD-SLR cleats are designed exclusively for SPD-SLR pedals, and older SPD-SL cleats cannot be used with the new SPD-SLR pedals.

• CL-SL110 (yellow): ±3° float, 6° total. A versatile option providing greater freedom of movement. These cleats are included with the PD-R8200 pedals
• CL-SL100 (red): 0° float – the foot position is fixed
• CL-SL120 (blue): ±1° float, 2° total
• CL-SL130 (grey): 6° float and a wider cleat position adjustment range

The new SPD-SLR cleats are up to 22% lighter than their equivalent SPD-SL cleats. High-contrast markings make precise cleat positioning and readjustment easier.

Included:

• 1 pair of Shimano ULTEGRA PD-R8200 SPD-SLR pedals
• 1 pair of Shimano CL-SL110 yellow cleats
• 6 cleat mounting bolts
