Shimano DURA-ACE PD-R9300 – next-generation premium road pedals designed for racing, where every watt matters. With these pedals, Shimano introduces the new SPD-SLR system, in which the pedal, cleat and shoe work together as one integrated platform. A lower profile, wider platform and stiffer construction provide more direct power transfer, while the updated mechanism ensures smoother rotation and faster clip-in.

• Next-generation SPD-SLR system: a closer connection between the shoe, cleat and pedal reduces unwanted movement and provides a more direct pedalling feel
• 11% greater stiffness: compared to the PD-R8200, the stiffer construction enables more efficient power transfer under high loads
• 53% lower rotational resistance: optimised bearing surfaces and a heat-treated axle ensure smoother pedal operation
• 2.3 mm lower shoe-to-pedal interface: brings the foot closer to the pedal axle for improved stability, control and power transfer
• Extra-wide platform: provides solid support when sprinting, climbing and pedalling at high power
• Integrated stainless steel contact plate: provides a stiff and durable contact surface
• Carbon composite body: lightweight and stiff construction designed for top-level performance

SPD-SLR cleat compatibility:

Important: the new SPD-SLR system is not compatible with previous Shimano SPD-SL cleats. SPD-SLR cleats are designed exclusively for SPD-SLR pedals, and older SPD-SL pedals cannot be used with the new SPD-SLR cleats.

• CL-SL110 (yellow): ±3° of float, 6° in total. A versatile choice offering greater comfort. These cleats are included with the PD-R9300 pedals
• CL-SL100 (red): 0° of float – the foot position is fixed
• CL-SL120 (blue): ±1° of float, 2° in total
• CL-SL130 (grey): offers a wider adjustment range and allows the new SPD-SLR system to be used with road cycling shoes featuring a traditional 3-hole cleat mounting system

The new SPD-SLR cleats are up to 22% lighter than the corresponding SPD-SL cleats. High-contrast markings make precise cleat positioning and readjustment easier.
