The Traverse SL II wheelset is a trail rider's dream, offering unmatched control, a superior strength-to-weight ratio, and excellent pinch-flat resistance. It's the lightest trail wheelset available at just 1,645 grams, ensuring your rides are both fast and agile.
These wheels feature front and rear-specific rims with carbon layups optimized for durability, offering a significant increase in strength over the previous model. The design also includes a 21% improvement in vertical compliance, resulting in better terrain adherence and bump absorption.
Say goodbye to pinch flats with the innovative "Flat Top" bead profile that drastically reduces the risk. The revolutionary “Roval ThreadBed Valve,” designed by Chuck Teixeira, simplifies tire setup and minimizes air loss and sealant clogs.
“These wheels are as tough as they are light. I don't run inserts, weigh 190lbs, and typically run 23-25PSI in my tyres and these wheels don't seem to care. Pinch flats; see ya never! Wheels are something you'd rather not think about while on a ride, and the SL II constantly reminds you to forget all about them.”
