Roval Traverse HD 240 29" Carbon Front Wheel

Trail-Redefining Strength and Control

Traverse HD sets a new standard for carbon trail wheels, offering unmatched strength and control. With specifically engineered front and rear layups, these wheels optimize the unique dynamics of each, ensuring superior handling. Their exceptional lateral stiffness guarantees precision steering for exact control in any terrain, making them the strongest carbon trail wheels ever tested. Designed to excel in challenging terrains, Traverse HD is perfect for bike parks, trail rides, or Enduro World Cup tracks.

Robust Design for Peak Performance

The wheelset combines strongest rim shape with offset spoke drilling and meticulously optimized carbon fibers. This results in a design that's not only most robust but also perfectly tailored for front and rear wheel needs. The front wheel layup enhances smooth, control-focused riding, while the rear layup maximizes stiffness and impact strength, ensuring a harmonious balance of durability and performance.

Advanced Technology for Unmatched Handling

Traverse HD's unique "Flat Top" bead profile revolutionizes tire protection by significantly reducing the likelihood of pinch flats. This innovative design requires 85% more force to pinch flat compared to standard round beads, greatly diminishing the risk of "snake bites". Combined with the groundbreaking “Roval ThreadBed Valve” by Chuck Teixeira, which eliminates compression nuts and minimizes air loss, these wheels ensure that every ride is smoother, more secure, and more enjoyable.

Curtis Robinson

“I’ve had a few hard direct impacts to the rim hearing a clear rim to rock ‘smash pinggggg’ and no visible damage, and NO flat. Most cases Its easy to pinch flat from those hard hits. I like the way the wheels look and the weight feels balanced. I’m already feeling multiple improvements from the previous Traverse wheels which is very exciting!”
