Maxxis Forekaster EXO+ TR 29" 3C Maxx Terra Folding Tire | Black

The updated Maxxis Forekaster is designed specifically for modern short-travel trail bikes in the “downcountry” segment. It’s positioned as a versatile “Goldilocks” tire that balances speed and control, rolling faster than a Minion or Dissector while offering more consistent cornering, climbing, and braking traction compared to the Aspen or Rekon.

Key Features:

• 3C MaxxTerra Compound: Provides balanced traction and durability, ideal for trail riding in all conditions.
• EXO Protection: Cut- and abrasion-resistant sidewalls that are flexible, ensuring performance remains unaffected, ideal for light-duty trail riding.
• EXO+ Protection: A medium-duty option with a durable 60 TPI casing, EXO layer, and butyl insert around the bead for trail durability and e-bike use.
• Tubeless Ready (TR): Tubeless compatibility for lower pressures, better traction, reduced flats, and liquid sealant use.
• Wide Trail (WT): Optimized for rims between 30-35mm inner width, ideal for a balanced tread profile and performance.
