Fizik Vento Antares R1 Light – lightweight performance saddle with carbon rails

Fizik Vento Antares R1 Light is a high-performance saddle with a low profile and a pronounced transition from the nose to the side sections. This shape makes it easier to move forward and backward on the saddle, making it well suited to intensive performance riding.

R1 Light construction combines a carbon-reinforced nylon shell with highly stiff carbon rails. Lightweight injected EVA padding provides low-profile cushioning and support without increasing the saddle thickness or altering its ergonomic shape.

The Antares shape is designed to support efficient pedalling in different riding positions. The flatter and slightly wider nose provides firm support when the rider moves forward or backward on the saddle, for example when climbing or maintaining pace on flat sections.

The ergonomic central cutout was developed using detailed pressure analysis and input from medical experts. It helps reduce pressure on sensitive areas and improve blood flow.

Fizik states that Antares is a performance saddle tested across a variety of racing disciplines, from road to cyclocross and XC.
