The Ultraz EVO is our warmest, most protective winter riding jacket to date. It’s constructed with a blend of our NEOS softshells and insulating RX fabrics to keep you as warm, dry, and shielded as possible in the most demanding weather out there.

By strategically applying three “weights” of NEOS softshell textiles to the Ultraz, we’ve ensured you get the right amount of protection where you need it, while simultaneously maintaining breathability and increasing weight-savings throughout. The position our bodies take on the bike—combined with the intended riding conditions—inform these material selections, knowing that deep-winter riding calls for absolute attention to detail in how your apparel fits and functions.

• NEOS Light + RX Heavy: Front and rear in two-layer twinDeck design. Made from ASSOS' three-layer, windproof and breathable softshell material with sealed PU membrane for even better water repellency

• NEOS Ultra + 652.RX: Two-ply twinDeck design for the sleeves. Made from ASSOS' patented two-layer, windproof and highly breathable softshell material with a sealed PU membrane for additional water repellency

• NEOS Medium: Three-layer, windproof and breathable soft shell material with sealed PU membrane. Weight: 340 g/m2; Breathability: MVTR 14,600 g/m2/24 h; Water column: > 10,000 mm; Elasticity: stretchable on 4 sides

• TwinDeck: The two-ply fabric design optimizes the insulation of the entire jacket with a textile combination of NEOS and RX

• RX: This brushed jersey weave is designed to provide excellent comfort with its moisture-wicking, highly insulating and extremely flexible properties. RX is processed in different weight classes

• Stabilizer S7: Central fabric section at the back made of solid mesh with short vertical stretch to stabilize the back pockets

• Triple Ramp Pockets: Elasticated fabric sections sewn into each of the three pockets cover their contents and guarantee additional safety and stability

• Full length zipper: Easy temperature adjustment thanks to the light full length zipper with open/close lock

• Raglan Cut: Sleeve design without traditional shoulder seams, with sleeves reaching to the neck for increased freedom of movement

• 2W waistWave: the knitted waist weave preserves the natural stretch of the fabric at the front without the use of elastic material

• Reflective details: The reflective stripes on the left and right of the middle pocket ensure that you are better seen in low light conditions

• ALS (ASSOS Layering System)
  Less is more. The entire ASSOS collection is conceptualized around this technology. ASSOS apparel is engineered with minimum volume, taking advantage of the body's natural heating/cooling capacities by insulating intelligently through pro-active layering. Both fabrics and garments have chain functions and are cut to complement each other. Everything fits like a puzzle; technically as well as aesthetically. It is up to each cyclist to follow the climate range guidelines and to experiment with the different ASSOS garments in order to find the perfect personal outfit for each specific riding season.
