EQUIPE R is an entry-level racing series short that combines EQUIPE RS system technology with a simplified everyday usage.

EQUIPE R is designed based on the tested A-Lock engineering framework, incorporating WorldTour tested EQUIPE RS technologies. It retains the RacingFit attachment stability with muscle-wrapping Butterfly panel and new Type.443 textile material, which supports and breathes just like the EQUIPE RS model, but in a richer black shade. The monofilament rubber in the straps reduces weight and dries faster than dual-layer models. The shorts continue to use Assos racing pads.

EQUIPE R provides cyclists with pure speed for both training and racing, yet is also suitable for everyday use.

Type.443 textile is a compression and abrasion-resistant warp-knit fabric similar in weight and compression stability to the EQUIPE RS series' Type.441. Highly breathable and supportive, in a deeper, more intense black shade, also with USF 50+.

The Assos racingFit framework fits like a second skin and creates an aerodynamic silhouette. Micro-forming wraps the major muscles and provides compressive support, while the leg length is standard.

ZeroPressure waist: An ultra-elastic waist construction that fits like a second skin and reduces pressure on the abdominal area and other sensitive parts of the body.
Ultralight leg grippers: Lighter than any other non-racing series products, with compressive elastic bands and Microdot silicone coating.
X frame: A-frame suspension from the EQUIPE RS series that prevents sag on the lower back and stabilizes the chamois and main body during intense rides.
Damping System Mono 9: Compressive foam in a breathable 9mm model. Thermally formed cut reduces irritating transitions and friction.
3D Waffle: A patented three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability without any excess weight.
Seam pattern where the front and back are attached, but the padding can move freely - with you, not against you.
